"The pagans of northern Europe celebrated the their own winter solstice, known as Yule. Yule was symbolic of the pagan Sun God, Mithras, being born, and was observed on the shortest day of the year. As the Sun God grew and matured, the days became longer and warmer. It was customary to light a candle to encourage Mithras, and the sun, to reappear next year. Huge Yule logs were burned in honor of the sun. The word Yule itself means wheel, the wheel being a pagan symbol for the sun. Mistletoe was considered a sacred plant, and the custom of kissing under the mistletoe began as a fertility ritual. Holly berries were thought to be a food of the gods. The tree is the one symbol that unites almost all the northern European winter solstices. Live evergreen trees were often brought into homes during the harsh winters as a reminder to inhabitants that soon their crops would grow again. In all societies, there were people who filled the roles of judge, doctor, diviner, mage, mystic, and clerical scholar - they were the religious intelligentsia of their culture."

Considerations on identification
"Identification refers to one or more ways of characterizing or selecting one
object among many existing ones". When we mention "object" we do not necessarily
refer to a physical piece, as the word is usually used, but we are dealing here
with an "object of identification", which can be a product, a place, a vehicle,
an animal, human beings or spiritual beings. These are the "objects of
identification".
When dealing with human beings, there are today on the face of the earth some
billions of this kind of "object of identification". Each one of them is unique
and each one of them has to be characterized and selected uniquely among all
others. This characterization of a human being which selects it uniquely among
all the others is called an "identification process".
The human identification process is under constant evolution as the science
finds new unique characteristics of human beings all the time. It's amazing to
think that one century ago we knew nothing about the unique characteristics of
finger prints as a resource for identification. Nowadays, not only the finger
print analysis by computer is quick and precise but also the eye mapping, voice
spectrum-analysis, DNA analysis and thermophoto as identification processes.
However, if we look back to a couple of centuries ago, there were no
identification process besides the physical appearance of a person, like his
face, height, weight and so on. Since the beginning, even when all these
techniques were unknown, the Creator, with His great wisdom, has set in every
human being, though they belong to the same specie, very unique identification
characteristics. Firstly the face (even twins are slightly different); after
that, the body, the height, the great variety of skin colors, the great variety
of eye colors, a great variety of hair types and colors, then the finger prints,
the eye maps, the DNA and the unique face temperature map which allows
thermophotos. We do not know yet what else the Creator has set in every human
being as a unique identification characteristic which the scientists will find
some day in the near future. The Creator, beyond any doubt, dedicated Himself
very much to this matter of "identification".
We can only consider as positive identification characteristics of an object,
those which are permanent not changing along the time. Variable characteristics
which change along the time are not positive identification characteristics. And
so, aspects like behavior, personality, personal skills, knowledge and others
like these can only help in the identification process but within a very short
period of time.
It seems to us that the human identification process is being dealt with very
well by the human science, by the government of each country, and by the
national and international police departments. However, our great interest here
is not focused on the human identification process, as there are people dealing
with this very well. Our great interest here is focused on the identification of
invisible spiritual beings.
Considerations on spiritual beings identification
Spiritual beings are invisible for us who live under the firmament in the
material world. This is maybe the great difficulty for people to believe they
are real, as they are used to the "touch" or "see" identification processes and
besides they do not know anything about spiritual identification and its
reality. Many people prefer to ignore the existence of spiritual beings,
invisible to our sight, and not even consider their existence. But now, the
point is the spiritual beings identification, considering the scriptures that
say they are real. This is a fact.
Spiritual beings, for us who live under the firmament, have no face, no height,
no finger prints, no eye map, no DNA either. Would the Creator have left the
spiritual beings out of the possibility of a positive identification,
considering He took many steps to assure a positive identification for each
human being? Certainly not. Identification is so an important matter for the
Creator that He first invited the man to participate in the identification
process of each animal specie on earth that He had recently created. And He said
that the way the man called them they would be called so. The Holy Scriptures
show us that the Creator calls each cocav (star???) by its own name, because He
identifies each one of them.
The Holy Scriptures show clearly that in the spiritual realm, above the
firmament, invisible to our sight, though totally real, the only and exclusive
identification is the NAME of each spiritual being. No other way is found in the
scriptures by which a spiritual being could be identified by us. It's not up to
us to wonder whether or not the spiritual beings have any other identification
among them, above the firmament, like appearance, color, size, brightness or
something else that we couldn't even imagine. The fact is that for us while
living in this material world we cannot see any characteristic of spiritual
beings identification, except the one and only revealed in the Holy Scriptures:
THEIR NAMES.
The Creator invited the man to give names to the animals that He had created.
The Creator calls each of the 'cocavim' by its own name. The Creator changed the
name of several people, as revealed in the Holy Scriptures. The Messiah changed
the name of one of His disciples. The name of the predecessor of the Messiah has
not been chosen by his parents, but by instruction of the spiritual being
Gaborul (corrupted as 'Gabriel'), who has been sent to his father who was the
high-priest at that time. The Name of the Messiah has not been chosen by any man
or woman either. This precious Name has been informed by a spiritual being to
His mother and to the husband of His mother.
The Creator Himself, to Whom the New testament refer as "The Father", and being
the Messiah His one and only Son, He has a Name which has been revealed to men
and determined that "by which I will be remembered from generation to
generation". Exodus 3:15. There is no other way, scripturally speaking, to
identify the Creator or His Son, except by Their Names.
It's interesting to notice how the Creator, in Exodus 20, has forbidden making
any kind of sculpture or any resemblance of what is "above in heaven". Making
sculptures are idolatrous attempts to identify invisible beings in a visible
way, disobeying the scriptures that reveal such exclusive identification by the
names. Many religions, specially the catholic church, make thousands of such
sculptures and images, being totally away from the spiritual reality, as if we
observe any of these images there is no positive identification as they are
completely different among themselves. The calendars which are sold or given
containing images supposedly of the Messiah, present an unreal picture besides
the fact that we cannot find two of them with some similarity. They created a
stereotype of the Messiah with long curled hair and beard with white skin and
blue eyes. Possibly because the natural human being disconnected from the
scriptural knowledge associates the beautiful to the good and the ugly to the
evil. Despite the scriptures teach that "He had no beauty" these idolatrous
images keep multiplying all over, not only disobeying the commandment not to
make them but also ignoring the one and only scriptural way of identifying a
spiritual being: THE NAME.
The mistaken identifications
May it be very expensive to us a mistaken identification? Yes. It can be very
expensive. Let's try to imagine in first place in the material world what may
happen due to a mistaken identification. The list of possible losses is long.
Innocent people might be condemned to death in the place of the real criminal;
people may lose money in their bank accounts by others taking their places;
people may lose great amount of money when their credit cards are used by other
people not properly identified; check books are stolen and the signature is
forged to wrongly identify the owner of that check; cars are stolen and their
numbers are modified to avoid proper identification; children are stolen while
in the hospital right after birth by fake nurses and sometimes this crime is
solved only when that child is already an adult.
Today the techniques for forgery and violations evolve to a level that even
finger prints are stolen as well as eye maps in order to allow somebody to take
the place of somebody else. The real sad in all this is that this is no longer
science fiction like it used to be some years ago.
What to say about the losses for a mistaken identification of spiritual beings?
As the Holy Scriptures clearly associate the most important facts of our lives
to a perfect identification of spiritual beings, we can quickly evaluate the
losses that may come from a mistaken identification.
As we said before the scriptural identification is based on the name and nothing
else. Therefore it's not difficult to understand that the inappropriate use of
names will directly cause the mistaken identification of spiritual beings, with
its resulting loss. By means of adulteration or substitution of names impostors
take the place of the true ones. When a name is changed or replaced the person
behind that name is also replaced as another name is now called upon. A
particular name refers to a particular spiritual being but another name refers
to another spiritual being. Always remember this important concept because this
will be required to understand many following teachings herein.
In the book of Exodus, the second book of the Holy Scriptures, whose author is
Mehushua (corrupted as Moses), we read about the Creator sending him unto
Pharaoh to release the people from the captivity in Egypt which was lasting for
four hundred years already. Mehushua didn't have any video cameras, digital
cameras, tape recorder or any other device to show to Pharaoh and the Hebrew
people Who had sent him to speak to them. The Creator did not give him any
signed paper, social security card or even some picture that could be useful as
an identification. The only identification that the Creator gave to Mehushua has
been His Name. "What is Thy Name so that I may tell the children of Yaoshorul",
asked Mehushua.
The greatest loss for the mankind: the Salvation.
The Holy Scriptures present the salvation of our soul and spirit, as well as our
body later on, extremely tied to the correct identification of our Saviour, the
Messiah. As all spiritual beings are identified only by their names, and as
salvation for the mankind is available only in the true Messiah, it becomes
obvious that we need to precisely identify the Messiah by His one and only
authentic Name.
